ClipKraft für DaVinci Resolve
Authentic Stock Footage for Professionals
How ClipKraft Assets Appear in Resolve
Bypass manual file hunting. Our companion tool auto-generates XML and EDL cutlists that sync directly with your Media Pool, preserving original frame rates and bit depths.
When you drop a ClipKraft project file into Resolve, the system reads the embedded metadata and populates your timeline with properly linked ProRes 422 HQ and BRAW sequences. Watch how the node structure auto-configures for immediate grading.
Media Pool Sync
Drag-and-drop imports that maintain absolute path references and auto-generate 10-bit proxy streams for smooth playback on mid-range workstations.
Node Tree Layout
Pre-wired serial nodes separate technical correction from creative grading, keeping your workspace clutter-free and fully reversible.
LUT Routing
One-click application of Rec.709 and ACES transforms that respect your project color management settings without clipping highlights.
Install the ClipKraft Resolve Companion
Get your workspace ready in under three minutes. The companion plugin bridges our cloud library with Resolve’s Media Page, enabling seamless imports without breaking existing proxy workflows.
Download the installer for your operating system, run the package, and launch DaVinci Resolve 18.6 or newer. Navigate to Preferences > System > ClipKraft Integration and authenticate with your studio license key. The plugin will cache your frequently used codecs and map storage paths automatically.
Download Companion (v2.4.1)Grading RAW and Log Footage from ClipKraft
ClipKraft delivers footage in Sony S-Log3, ARRI LogC4, and Blackmagic RAW to maximize dynamic range. Follow this three-stage process to extract clean shadows and accurate skin tones directly in the Color page.
Start by interpreting the source correctly in the Inspector. Apply a baseline correction using the Color Warper to neutralize cross-color contamination. Finally, push creative looks with qualified power windows and film emulation curves.
Interpret Source Metadata
Right-click your clip in the Media Pool, select Set Interpretation, and match the camera profile to the original log curve. This prevents washed-out midtones before you touch a single slider.
Establish Base Correction
Use the first node to set proper black and white points with the scopes panel. Lift crushed shadows by 0.3 stops and roll off highlights gently to preserve texture in overcast skies.
Apply Creative Looks
Route your creative grade through a parallel node tree. Apply ClipKraft’s curated film emulation LUTs at 60% intensity, then isolate skin tones with a Hue vs Sat curve for natural warmth.
